Say “Cheese” – a phrase we all recognize, but did you ever notice the anxiety that some people have when they hear those words. David didn’t suffer from pain or other problems with eating. Freedom to Eat All Types of Food
Eating – a social event that most take for granted. We eat to celebrate, we send gifts of food and we gather around the table. Frances however, didn’t see the pleasure in food and these experiences like she once did. Due to circumstances beyond her control, she had lost all of her back teeth and the misalignment of her front teeth didn’t project the kind of smile Frances wished to present to the world. Freedom from Pain
Norbert dealt with it every day – that lingering, ever-present part of his life: pain. The discomfort Norbert experienced in his mouth was changing his life. He had to carefully select the foods he ate and the winter air would send cutting surges of pain without warning. Freedom from Fear and Anxiety
“How did it happen?” This is a question many people look back and ask when it comes to their teeth. Michael’s fear and anxiety of dental treatment worsened over the years. Although aware of his dental problems, he just couldn’t bring himself to having them treated. Was it the sounds, the thoughts and anticipation that held him back? It really did not matter – he just couldn’t do it. Michael’s fear caused him to live with teeth he detested, dentures that didn’t help him to chew and pain that was ever present. Dr. Berzin met with Michael to help him dissipate the cloud that hovered over him for years. Michael‘s wish was to be free from the pain and free to have the treatment he needed without the crippling fear.
Dr. Berzin provided just that. Using I.V. Sedation, or sleep dentistry, Dr. Berzin placed implants that would secure Michael’s teeth so that it could function as his natural teeth did. He returned the health to his mouth through restorations all while Michael slept. Michael awoke as a brand new man, eager to smile at the world.
